WHY SEAMWRITER
We built SeamWriter because too many good ideas stay ideas — scattered across notebooks, notes apps and half-finished documents, until the spark fades. SeamWriter gives every idea a home that grows with it: from a single sentence to a finished story, book or body of work, with nothing lost along the way and nothing written without you.
WHAT’S ALREADY HERE
SeamWriter is early access — but it’s not a pitch deck. It’s a real, working product today, already carrying ideas from a first spark to a finished page. Here’s what’s actually inside.
Capture every idea the moment it strikes — sorted by horizon, Now to Wild — so nothing brilliant gets lost in a notes app, and nothing gets forced into your outline before it’s ready.
Senso is the intelligence underneath SeamWriter, quietly keeping track of what matters in your project — the right character detail, the right research note, the right earlier scene — so it’s there the moment you need it, not just when you remember to go looking for it.
A nestable Book → Act → Chapter → Scene tree (or Spreads/Pages for picture books) you can drag, reorder and reparent in seconds, with a Scene Brief for each node's purpose, POV and required beats — the whole shape of your story, always visible, always changeable.
Characters, places, factions and rules, each with its own image gallery and relationships, kept connected to the pages that use them — so your world stays consistent even as your story grows around it.
Continue a scene, try an alternative opening, expand a beat, add tension — proposals you can accept, edit or ignore. SeamWriter drafts alongside you; it never rewrites your prose on its own.
When a fact or relationship changes, SeamWriter flags every page that assumed the old version — so a changed backstory or a moved deadline never quietly breaks a scene you wrote weeks ago.
Research lenses that shift with your project — period and timeline for historical fiction, technology and plausibility for science fiction, visual direction for picture books — so research stays part of the story, not a separate chore.
A revocable, read-only connector so an AI assistant you already use can see your project's structure and world — without SeamWriter ever holding a model key, and without you losing control of your own data.
